Ed McLean

With exception of a couple of years not being active, I have been an SCCA member since 1987. I started out racing an MGB in autocrosses and then eventually made my way into formula cars starting with my Formula Vee. I ran various cars in autocrosses (mostly RX-7s). In 2013, I obtained a FIA Class C pro license in a Formula Renault 2.0 at Pannoniaring in Hungary and purchased a Formula Ford 2000 to run in events (FIA license issued by OAMTC, License number JA2126). Unfortunately a wreck during practice due to a wing failure cut my career short. I have many HPDE laps on European tracks: Monza, Hockenheim (my primary track), Nurburgring, and Dijon Prenois. Currently running a TAG kart in sprints and road racing along with endurance races with various teams at American Endurance Racing.
